It allows you to better protect yourself if you like to play more forwards. If you are working with others in a Division or within your team, it can also be extra effective. Radar is a very powerful tool for hunting DD's. The American cruiser line changes dramatically when you get to the 2nd hull ( B Hull ) of the Tier 8 New Orleans, and the ships all then get radar. Overall, Captains who are familiar with Henri IV's playstyle should feel very comfortable in the Condé.Thanks again for the replies! I think I'm going to continue up the french line. One thing worth mentioning however is Condé does not have the reduced acceleration that Henri IV is burdened with, so it is much easier to dodge incoming fire by constantly switching speeds and shifting the rudder with the right skill and timing. Condé shares many traits with Henri IV, with very similar speed, armor, stealth, and consumables. Despite the sheer amount of power that this Burst-Fire mode provides, the main drawback is the significantly longer reload time of 50 seconds which leaves the ship unable to return fire for a portion of time. This means she is capable of either dealing a large amount of damage and almost a guaranteed fire with her High Explosive, or outright obliterating enemy ships who are caught broadside with a massive strike to their citadels using her Armor-Piercing. Switching to this mode will allow Condé to fire off two full salvos from her Main Battery, with the added bonus of significantly increased accuracy and higher penetration for her High Explosive Shells. The ship is not only equipped with the Main Battery Reload Booster consumable, which can reduce the reload time of her guns by 50%, but also a highly effective Burst Fire Mode. Sporting three more 240mm guns for a total of twelve divided evenly in a trio of quadruple-gunned turrets, the firepower of Condé is monstrous when firing either HE or AP.

Featuring more guns, more torpedoes, and more health, the Condé is capable of performing nightmarish things to opposing ships. The first French Supership, Condé can be best described as a Henri IV on steroids.
